There is nothing shy about this look.
My hair is giving Cindy Crawford (circa the '80's) a run for her money. Balanced out by my tulle skirt, the only thing keeping this look grounded are the gold studs on this Rebecca Minkoff wristlet. In watermelon pink leather no less...swoon. Usually I run away from pink, particularly good ol' barbie doll pink. The scars from living in Orange County during the reign of the pink velour Juicy Couture sweatsuit have left a permanent mark in my psyche. Especially because I am blonde and prefer not to walk around with a small dog in a bedazzled bag. It's just....well...anyways, you get the point. I decided a pop of pink doesn't make me Elle Woods or the newest Real Housewife of Orange County. Instead, it allows the pretty raspberry sorbet shade to give just the right pop of color to this black and white look.
Thanksgiving is only two weeks away and it's time to start planning what you are going to wear for the holiday season! Why not have a little bit of fun this year and go for the unexpected? Some inexpensive suggestions: Try a sparkly ear cuff, a faux fur stole, or a big tulle skirt. Jewel tones and metallic shades are a beautiful alternative to the traditional red and green. Include some shimmer somewhere in there, but only in small doses :) If all else fails, and your budget is tight, than get creative with what you have. Mix two lipstick shades together to create a new color. Watch a YouTube video on how to do a new hairstyle you have been dying to try. Layer your nail polishes to create a new custom color. Whatever little effort you put in will make the season all the more enjoyable. I promise.
