Earlier this Spring I went to a Current Elliott sample sale and scooped up this infantry jacket and destroyed jeans. I have been living in them ever since. Military inspired jackets have been on trend for so long now that they are considered wardrobe staples. Long and perfectly slouchy, I love the fold over collar, belted hem, and large over-sized front pockets of this particular one. Similar to a leather jacket, military jackets are a great way to add a little edge or "cool factor" to summer dresses, skirts, and shorts. Worn buttoned up or open, with or without a belt, and with sleeves rolled up or down, the styling options are endless. In regard to color, you can stay with the classic green or mix it up by choosing a white, gray, or soft gold dune color like the one I chose. Plus, it is a perfect transitional piece to carry you from summer to fall. Thanks for stopping by Of Beauty and Grace!
