Fall time is only weeks away. While my school days are long over, I still get excited over starting new and falling back into routine after a summer of play. Speaking of school, I've always been envious of the prep-school, single uniform look. A contradiction for someone who loves to express herself through fashion? Perhaps. To me, though, the uniform represents someone who is prepared and ready. Clean, organized, and on point. One of my very favorite things about fashion is the opportunity to switch out what you typically wear to be appropriate for each new occasion life brings you. Plus... I'm a life-long learner, so the uniform appeals to my inward scholar. So please... indulge me if you will with my take on "the uniform." I think the prep school inspired look of this Free People plaid skirt and oversize blazer, is an A plus, if I may say so. The classic ankle strap heels along with my leopard clutch take me from the school yard to the street. While not at Cambridge or roaming the halls of some great Ivy League school, I am ready to offer this day my very best!

P.S. I loved how Mariah had styled my hair for the last look, so I had to try it with a few different outfits. Something about it just works so right with this prep school vibe.
