Winter meets Spring in soft greys and periwinkle! Only in California do winter days allow us to wear tweed shorts (without tights) and tall suede boots without fear of the elements. Most cold weather gear is deeply discounted this time of year, so scooping up a coat in a candy colored hue as is a fun way to spring a little life into your winter wardrobe. I grabbed the coat shown above for only $50 at Nordstrom!
Stuart Weitzman officially made the "it" boot of the year with this butter soft Highland boot. Worn by every model and celebrity around (seriously, just google it), this boot brings a level of sophistication and elegance to the flirtatious over-the-knee boot. These boots are a definite investment piece, so keep your eye out for sales at major department stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales or online retailers like Shopbop and Piperlime to get up to 40% off retail.
The pretty pale pink of my Rebecca Minkoff clutch, white nails, and rose colored lip add more subtle touches of pastels while still allowing the focus to be on the coat (or the boots :)
Have you added some pastels to your winter wardrobe yet? Try it!
